A note from the founders
We built Eight because the dinners were not happening.
We were tired of watching our friends, smart, kind, beautiful people, stay single because the apps had quietly trained everyone to scroll instead of show up. We were tired of dating products that treat humans like inventory. Tired of conversations that died in the chat. Tired of dinners that never happened.
So we built the opposite of a swipe deck. A room that opens twice a week, at the same hour, for the same eight minutes. A product designed to end the moment a real plan begins. The night is the metric. Everything else is noise.
If we do this right, you'll forget the app exists somewhere between the second drink and the walk home. That's the point.
