Eight is a community built on respect, authenticity, and meaningful connections. These are the rules. Read them. Follow them. We enforce them.
Treat everyone with kindness and respect. We have zero tolerance for harassment, bullying, or hateful behaviour. Everyone deserves to feel safe while using Eight. Eight is small, the community is small, and the team is small enough that we read every report.
Use real photos and provide accurate information about yourself. Catfishing or impersonating others is not allowed. Be yourself. That's who we want to connect.
No nudity, sexual content, or explicit material. Eight is for making genuine connections, not for adult content. Keep your profile and behaviour appropriate for all audiences. The video review process catches the obvious. The community reports the rest.
Be mindful of what you say during video calls and in messages. Don't share personal information too quickly. If someone makes you uncomfortable, end the call and report them. The exit button is always one tap away.
If you encounter behaviour that violates these guidelines, please report it immediately. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly. You can read about exactly what happens when you report.
Violations of these guidelines may result in warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent account termination, depending on the severity of the violation. We reserve the right to remove any content or user that violates these guidelines.
For criminal behaviour (threats, stalking, sexual content involving minors) we proactively cooperate with law enforcement and retain the records necessary to support investigations.
For specific questions about these guidelines, contact safety@eightdating.com. For general support, see the help center. For the full safety center, see eight-safety.
