Eight was born from frustration with modern dating apps. Our founders, tired of endless swiping and shallow connections, asked a simple question: what if dating apps were designed to actually work?

The answer was Eight. A video-first love app that opens at 8 PM Wednesdays and Sundays, bringing people together at the same time for intentional connections. No more endless scrolling. No more ghosting. Just real people looking for something real.

Today, Eight is helping thousands of people in Portugal find meaningful connections. We're crossing the Channel into London this summer with Ross Williams, a 20-year UK dating veteran, joining as Co-Founder & Strategic Advisor. We're just getting started.
